About Brian
Brian Katz is the Founder and CEO of Katz Capital, which he established in 2011. With extensive experience spanning banking, insurance, and real estate finance, he has built a reputation for strategic leadership, prudent risk management and innovative problem-solving.
Brian began his finance career at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, where he evaluated capital adequacy, institutional risk, and regulatory compliance for financial institutions. He later joined Goldman Sachs in Credit Risk Management and Advisory, overseeing the analysis of multi-billion-dollar credit portfolios across a broad range of industries.
Today, Brian serves on the boards of Resource Bank, N.A., Camp Grove State Bank (“CGSB”) and Patriot Select Property & Casualty Insurance Company (“Patriot Select”). He is the board chair at CGSB and investment committee chair at Patriot Select.
Brian earned his bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis and his MBA from George Washington University, where he was recognized as a Millennium Fellow.

About Charles
Charles joined Katz Capital in 2023 and is the Chief Operating Officer, helping oversee operations across the Katz platform. Charles brings a real estate background to Katz along with a wealth of operations experience from his career in the restaurant industry. Prior to joining Katz, Charles was the Vice President of Operations for PDQ Restaurants where he spent almost a decade helping grow the concept from the ground up. He started at the beginning when the concept was one unit, and at the end of his time he oversaw 32 units in the state of Florida that produced over $75mm in yearly sales. Charles helped create numerous programs and SOPs during his tenure that helped push the company forward during rapid growth, and will look to help do the same at Katz Capital. Charles is also a licensed realtor and mortgage loan originator and has spent his entire life in the Tampa Bay area. He will utilize this blend of operations and real estate to help drive revenue in all of the businesses under the Katz Capital umbrella while creating the operation excellence needed to scale.
Patrick Kenny, CPA

About Patrick
Patrick joined Katz Capital in November of 2025 and is the Chief Financial Officer. He oversees finance, accounting, and investor reporting. Prior to joining Katz, Patrick spent 4 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an auditor in their Asset & Wealth Management practice, servicing Alternative Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds and Real Estate funds. Patrick is a licensed CPA, holds a B.S. in Finance, Accounting, and a Master of Science in Data Analytics from Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH.

Katz Capital’s real estate private equity services involve the direct owning of real estate and taking derivative exposure to real estate by issuing mortgages to investor-borrowers to refinance and rehabilitate multi-family, single-family and commercial properties. Seeking stable returns, our focus is attractive real estate markets within Florida that exhibit positive demographic trends.
To enhance control for our investors and ourselves, we take it a step further. In addition to Katz Capital’s investment and lending expertise, we provide real estate-related services that include brokerage, insurance, property management and title through our Pineywoods organization.
